2007 Mazda 6

This entry is to discuss how I feel about my 2007 Mazda 6. I purchased this vehicle in January of 2008 and I am extremely pleased with the vehicle despite a few preliminary problems. I did have to get the CD changer replaced within the first year of purchase. Other than that, the passenger seat seems to squeak a bit for no apparent reason when anyone sits on that side.

Past these issues, I still love the design of my Mazda 6 and the gas mileage isn't too bad. I do not drive highway mileage much but still seem to get about 33 mpg in my 4 cylinder Mazda6 model. I can't begin to rave about the deal I got on this car as well. At the time of purchase it was a 2007 new vehicle on the lot in 2008. So, I received a good incentive to buy the vehicle and it was the sport value package which gave me a lot of nifty upgrades without the nifty price. I think I came out purchasing this vehicle for about $16000.

With the sport value package, I did get the 6 CD changer in dash, alloy wheels (no hubcaps!!), and all power options. It also just happened to be a really nice grey/lavendar color in certain times of the day. When I purchased this vehicle, I was in the market for a 4 door sedan. I was looking at Accords and Altimas but this one packed all the punch while only costing a portion of the price of these other models.

I would recommend a Mazda product based on my experience in the past two years. I intend to keep this vehicle until payoff and may consider another Mazda product providing I have no major problems with the vehicle in the coming year or so. So far, I have kept my vehicle maintained at the dealership with just some oil changes, tire rotations and other basic maintenance. I have about 9000 miles left on my 36000 mile warranty so hopefully anything that could go wrong will go wrong during that time but that's so often not the case!

Does anyone else have anything to share about their Mazda or Mazda6 product?
