It runs hot? Ok, it's one of a few things. The easiest is the thermostat. If it's original from the factory, I'd say replace it. It's easy and cheap and should be done every other year or so. If that doesn't fix it, it's time to look at the condition of the coolant. Scratch that, just replace the coolant when you change the thermostat (drain the radiator). If that doesn't fix it, make sure the fan(s) are coming on when the engine get's warm and/or when the A/C is on. Look at the radiator as well. If it's clogged with bugs, leaves or human remains, time to clean or replace it.
