I have a blue 2001 Ranger. It is starting to get small white craze like spots under the clear finish. What is this? I have seen older blue rangers with faded, peeling paint.

I'm sorry you are having this issue. I think it's the paint contamination issue. Your Ranger has an aluminum hood and there was a problem with iron contamination that is causing corrosion under your paint. Ford knows about this, but I doubt if they will do anything with your truck, but the only way to know is to take it to the dealer and, while remaining professional and polite, let them know they must fix this to keep you happy and to ensure you will buy another Ford product.
