How do I get car wax off the black plastic body parts?

I'm not sure you can completely remove it. I had the same problem with some of the trim on my truck. The only thing I found that works is using some kind of interior protectant (I use Mcguiar's Natural/Supreme Shine Protectant) and apply it to the trim. It covers it up so you can't see the residue, and it makes your trim look pretty slick too. Keep in mind though it will wear off and you will need to re-apply it to keep the residue from being seen. I beleive the residue on my trim has become a lot less noticeable since I began doing this. Maybe the protectant sort of cleans the trim each time I apply it. Anyway hope this helps and good luck!!!

go to a auto parts store that sell automobile paint ,ask for some WAX & GREASE remover that should take the wax off.
