  If you're going for tough, it's not the RDX, for sure. I have difficult time recommending the other two, but in terms of toughness, go with the Hummer. Consider an H2 instead.

  I have to vote for the RDX only because I think the Avalanche is an atrocity from a design perspective, and the H3 is really just a watered down Hummer - and so you don't want to be thought of as that do you? With with the RDX - it says "Young, Tough, and Smart".

  Avalanche would definitely be the way to go out of these 3. You can get one equipped just as well as the Hummer or Acura and Avalanche has a lower overall cost of ownership, lower selling price, and any service that you may require will definitely be more affordable than paying premium technician rates for Acuras and Hummers.

  So in short, the Hummer is probably over priced. The Acura won't give you the "tough" factory you're looking for. The Avalanche you can buy with the equippment of the Acura on the inside and you can still take it off-road if necessary and not worry about breaking anything.

  It depends on where you live. The Avalanche is just ridiculous to try to maneuver in the city. I'm sure you could get a good deal on one now that people have been reminded that we can have $5 gas and the current credit crunch.

  u can haul stuff, try hauling a quad in the avalanche, and avs look the same, noy h3 very unique
