I can't stand the Unlimited models, so I'm really only considering these. Obviously, the X is the cheapest and Rubicon is the most expensive. Is the Rubicon worth the upgrade? Or is the Sahara the best choice as a mid-range option? I'll let your votes decide!

I you like to drive off road in fun places the lower gears of the Rubicon will be worth there weight in gold! But around town they are of no real value.

Don't pay for over priced dealer markups....you can get better quality after market parts on the X and make it just as good as the Rubicon for less money

I have an X, and unless you're rock climbing, the 35/44 axle setup is fine for most offroad... and it's fully upgradeable!

You to dont need a rubicon unless you plan on going up slopes close to 90 degrees. (Which no one usually does).

If you want to upgrade an X to a Rubicon in aftermarket parts- you are going to spend a ton of money. it isn't just the sticker on the hood it is: Front AND rear Dana 44 as well as a much more robust transfer case(bog bucks) in addition to automatic sway bar disconnects in addition to a really low 1st gear and you cannot forget the front and rear lockers. You are crazy if you think you can buy better aftermarket items like this and pay less for an x to make it better. You obviously do not know anything about jeeps. In addition to that comment- a rea 4 wheel drive is the Rubicon- the only one made on the market today.sure you can really climb up a tree but the upgrades are not for that. Do more research before making such stupid comments.
