The Prius is a horrible car. The Honda, while less popular, is a much better choice. You should also consider a VW Jetta TDI. The car is very well priced and gets great mileage.

The Accord or Toyota Camry (not shown) would be my pick. But if you're just looking for something to get you from a-to-b the civic would be fine as well.
