If you're going to buy, I'd go with the Highlander since it's a dependable Toyota. If you're going to lease, I'd go with the X5...it's the best looking of the three and the sportiest. What about the Lexus GX?

While my gut prefers the BMW, I can't find any advantage it would have over this Toyota in terms of reliability...

For value, I would get the Toyota, at just over half the price of the Bimmer. Mercedes has a bad rep for reliability, so I wouldn't consider it at all.

I personally like the BMW, but the Toyota is the right call here.
