Help! I'm mom to four growing kids. So far my twelve year old minivan and five year old kia keep getting us where we need to be, and will for a bit (knock on wood!). Still, I can't help but wonder what the best car is to replace our minivan when it goes. It's got to be big to fit the family, but fun to drive and good on gas. Which is the best choice?

We looked at the Sienna before but ended up buying the Honda Odyssey (cause we got a better deal pricewise). I would go with the Sienna for sure.

Get the 5! I've been driving mine for a little over a year now, and it has been perfect! Fantastic gas mileage, plenty of room for little people, great price. It crash tests well, and Consumer Reports gave it a good review for the 2007 model. It doesn't hurt that it's extremely cute. (Get the black one, if you can. The others look slightly less spiffy.) The only downsides I've seen: it's a little underpowered, and adults can't sit comfortably in the back row. They'll fit, but they won't have enough legroom. If you like to play racecar driver, this car isn't for you, but it does have enough get-up-and-go to get us where we want to go. I love my 5!

I am not real familiar with any of these. We bought a Hyundai Entourage because we have grandchildren to tote and we absolutely love it!

I to have been wanting to switch from my suv to a van, only having a 12 and 16 year old left at home. After having 2 grandsons spending the summer and a few trips over 1200 miles one way and rental vans, my children and I would choose the dodge van with a table and revolving seats and dvd player for those long trips. I voted. Thank you

The Mazda is my favorite! I like it's combination of utility and price. My last Madza went trouble free for many years, and now that I am older I need a crossover like this. Madza is doing great expanding from entry level cars to cars for 2nd and 3rd time buyers. They have my loyalty.

We have 4 kids in car seats in our 08 Mazda5... there's not a TON of room behind the seats when all are being used, but you just can't beat the mileage.
