I've always love the Japanese sportscars from the 90's. So much personality, and you could tune them to blow Ferraris and Lamborghinis out of the water! Between these three (the Mazda RX-7 and Nissan 300ZX weren't available,) which one would you choose?

For me, it's the Supra. I've seen some amazingly tuned Supras which changed my perception of the Japanese sports car. I decided if that's what kids are hot-rodding today, then I'm all for it...

Very tough to choose between the Supra and NSX. GTO was good but overly complicated. Supra was just right with the feel and ownership but was marketed towards the middle aged men. NSX is a true beauty and changed Ferrari's thinking.

not the best 3 to choose from, but it has to be the Honda. It was quick, looked like and was designed as a 'new' coupe unlike the ageing supra. The supra had the 300zx in it's sights, the 300zx already got the euros scared, but the Honda, tackled the euro's head on and didnt even worry about the rest of japan, a bit like it's glory f1 days. The mitsi tried to hard in the bells and whistles dept and got too fat, it had too many accessories not enough of the basics. Mitsi may have worked in the U.S, because of its pace...but it lacks any grace in doing so. The Supra's star faded soon after the 300zx pretty much retired and it stopped production. You got to love that 300zx! I would have personally prefered the cosmos 20b! All the tech of the mitsi...and the weight, the power of the supra and the super-car moniker of the nsx.

I own a 1992 VR-4, and this is one simply amazing machine. Other than the sloppy shifting, and heavy weight that it bring to the table, it is an amazing and stylish design with tech like: AWD, AWS, Twin Turbo, Twin Intercooled, Active Aerodynamics, Active Exhaust, and Active Suspension. Plus, if you have ever tried to damage the body plating on one of these cars, you will discover that it is built like a tank, with you safely inside.

I really love this car! Obviously it's amazing simply to look at. Definitely the best looking of the bunch. Red is definitely an awesome color, very sexy. It's also a great car to drive and ride--awesome interior and a smooth ride. The back bucket seats are extremely comfortable. I'd love to have one of these to race (I'm inspired by movies like The Fast and the Furious... jk). Oh, and manual is really sweet. All and all an awesome car.

I'd go for an NSX. As reliable as a Civic with the performance of a Porsche. The RX7 may look better, but the rotary is a time-bomb. Supra prices are over-inflated and they really shine at the dragstrip, but are too heavy for any spirited fun driving. The 300ZX Twin Turbo is cool but it's a bit dated to me. The 3000GT makes the Supra look like an Elise.

Unlike others who owned multiple cars, Ive owned one NSX and still have it since 1997. Drives like a dream and makes women scream. It is one of the greatest designs of its day and it changed the supercar world as we know it today. Look it up, McLaren modeled its car off the NSX. Of course they made it faster but the mind set is there. The man who started McLaren to this day still owns a NSX and said and I quote " It is a absolute masterpiece. The way this car handles is how all cars should handle, and thats what I wanted with the McLaren F1. I wanted it to be faster but still have the ability and performance of the NSX". NSX all the way! 3000gt is crap, its a ticking time bomb. My buddy had 2 of them and both fuel tanks exploded on minor impact, hes lucky to be alive. He now drives a Acura TL. Supra was a great car but IMO the looks were to bulky and it weighed more then what it should. Supras are only good modded.
