  I am proud of the sticker in the passenger door that says my CTS was manufactured in Grand Rapids, MI. I am glad to know that US made goods are keeping folks in the US employed. AND the CTS not only keeps up with the foreign badges - but blows many away for lots of reasons - hence the 2008 Car of the Year designation from MotorTrend. http://www.motortrend.com/oftheyear/car/112_0801_2008_cadillac_cts/index.html

  I am 70 years old and have owned 5 Mercedes in the past 20 years. They are great cars, but in my opinion not better than the 2004 CTS lux sport that I currently drive. And when they break you will really pay.

  wELL I HAVE RIDDEN IN BOTH TYPES OF CARS MY FATHER HAD CADALLIACS AND NOW HE DRIVES MERCEDES FOR THE LAST 10 YEARS I RECENTLY JUST BOUGHT A C63 BENZ SO YOU SHOULD TEST DRIVE THEM BOTH FIRST BUT I WOULD TAKE THE BENZ.
