Which is the best car Pontiac makes?

On news Pontiac will become a niche brand, with few models, I'm wondering what you think their best car is. All three here have interesting attributes; the G8 is one of the best cars GM has ever made; the Vibe is good-looking, practical, and economical; and the Solstice is the car that got people thinking Domestic again. What's your pick?

The G8 is superb from what I gather, but the nimble handling, efficient turbo power, and post-modern-retro styling of the Solstice make it more appealing in my opinion. The G8 certainly looks better than just about anything Pontiac's done since 1987, but it's still got enough style elements from the last two decades to remind you it's a plastic-clad Pontiac.

I think the Vibe is the best Pontiac branded car....cause it's basically a Toyota.

The Solstice is the real deal when it comes to small roadsters. It has enough performance to match the Mazda Miata and edgy looks that gives it a unique niche. This and the Saturn Sky are two of the best cars America has to offer and it's be a shame to see either of them go. This was VERY hard choice, being that new G8 is a spectacular super-sedan that is dirt cheap and still has excellent quality, performance and looks. I would own either one without any qualms.

This is interesting. I prefer the G8 hands-down to the Solstice, for a few reasons: 1) I don't fit in the Solstice, 2) "turbo power" on the GXP model isn't really that great, 3) it has laughable trunk space, and 4) the G8 GT will do about 2000rpm at 85 mph…a real highway hauler!

I have read numerous reviews that say this vehicle is very reliable and the only cons are just minor preferences and not problems which would require the vibe to be at the shop. Very impressed!

The Pontiac G8 - GT & GXP have to be the overall best Pontiac ever produced. A true shame that the "NEW GM" is dropping Pontiac but a great shame that they are dropping the G8 platform all together and not maintaining this amazing machine as a Chevy or even a Buick!!!
