  Keep in mind too... that prices in CANADA are much closer than MSRP shows. Cooper S - optioned out properly, will run $34K!!! The 128i will be about $35K.

  A difficult choice. The Bimmer has lot's of power and a trunk for your clubs (at least i think it can fit clubs) BUT....no car is more fun to drive that the MINI ans I know your dream car is really a MIATA so this will be the closest thing. So I say loaded MINI over base Bimmer. A big fish in a small pool or a gold fish in an ocean?

  The Mini is far from impractical and it's small enough to avoid in-the-city problems. Just make sure you have enough room, as it's pretty tiny inside.

  As an update.... went ahead and got the Mini Cooper S.... and i've not looked back since. Go cart dynamics, Turbo Power AND Great Fuel mileage.
