I'm not deciding to purchase any of these, but would like your feedback on which of the three vehicles you think best describes the word "crossover". Which of the three would you tell your non car-loving friends is the perfect example of a crossover?

I vote Suzuki. Car-like, available all-wheel-drive, and better practicality than other economy cars.

A crossover to me is something like an SUV only with a much lower ride height. Think modern 'station wagon'.

I've always thought a "crossover" was a light duty SUV.

@the Anonymous that thought a crossover was a light-duty SUV: Nope. Light-duty SUVs are few and far between, but the Suzuki Grand Vitara is one, the Jeep Liberty is another, and you could probably add the Toyota 4Runner into that mix as well.
