Prius, then Civic, then Malibu, in that order. Prius is still the technology leader and still the only gas-powered car that can get 44 MPG. The Civic has nearly equivalent performance, but is merely a "mild hybrid" (can't run on electricity alone) that gets a way-lower 37 MPG. The Malibu is one size class bigger than either car, so it more competes with the Camry and Altima hybrids, but it's also a mild hybrid -- one that would be lucky to top 30 MPG in any situation.

I absolutely HATE the way the Prius looks, but it's the best hybrid on the market. I'd despise myself if I drove one, but I'd also enjoy the gas savings. If only they weren't the sedan equivalent of the Aztec, in terms of looks... YUCK!

Prius. Had one, and I'll buy one again. As for style, my teen daughter Julia, likes it. More older folks dislike it than younger ones, based on my backyard survey. Its the look of the future and along with everything else coming our way, we may not like how it'll look, but its coming our way.

The Prius makes more and more sense with every change of price at the pump. Toyota's quality is legendary, and this remains among the pioneers among relatively green cars.

I think since gas prices are going through the roof, the Prius is the obvious choice here. Plus its the cheapest out of da 3

The Prius is saving the most on gas but good luck fitting four people our bags of groceries in it. Go with the Chevy!

Prius is good, but you're paying a big premium right now for it. Plus it's boring. The Civic is a good choice and it provides a great balance between eco-friendly, fuel economic, enough space inside, and an all-around good car for any purpose.

The Prius is a good hybrid, but it's weak and you'll seem like a snob driving it. The Chevy is bad. The Civic is a good all-around hybrid car. More space than the Prius and still gets great fuel economy.
