Volkswagen has decided on a name for its curvy new midsize offering: the CC. Arriving in America just months from now, the CC will be to the Passat what the Mercedes CLS is to the Mercedes E-class: the same basic car restyled as a "four-door coupe."

If there's one thing we need, it's a politician who makes promises that few care about, no one can deliver, and incur costs that far exceed the benefits. If elected, Mrs. Clinton will answer our prayers by mandating that all vehicles average 55 MPG -- a number not met by a single gas-powered car (hybrid or otherwise) in American automotive history.

Another research firm has conducted a survey rating automaker website satisfaction, and this time, Honda came out on top. Honda was found to be best at giving consumers the information they're after, get them to dealers and actually buy the cars, and "do a superior job communicating the unique qualities of the brand."
