2009 Acura TL getting a performance upgrade

Presumably, the base front-wheel-drive TL switches from its current 258-horsepower 3.2-liter V6 for a 280-horsepower 3.5-liter V6 (probably taken from the new Accord), with the new AWD model getting a 300-horsepower 3.7-liter V6. If the reports are true, the TL will enjoy even more performance and credibility among luxury sports sedans than it already has. At the same time, one can't help but wonder: with 300 horses and all-wheel-drive available on the TL -- probably for a price in the upper $30,000s -- who would ever again shell out 50 large for Acura's flagship RL?
