Vulcanabags is based in the U.S. and makes unique bags from recycled rubber. Found in landfills, this rubber is processed into large sheets that can end up as pretty much any style of bag. Their evening bag comes in a soft black or brown color with an inner zippered pocket, perfect for all my small accessories that won't fit. The price? Just over $70.
Vulcana fuzun clutches
Vulcana has taken a unique approach to their evening bags and other goods by including hemp with the recycled rubber that is used to create their line of clutches. The combination of the recycled tire rubber and hemp actually makes the bag very strong and resistant to some elements, such as rain. They call it "Hemp fuzun" which is an awful name, but a smart idea. This bag is available in three colors, black, red and a light gray. The price for each is under $70.
